The Versace house is one of the best for designer fragrances to delve into. Not only are the bottles usually high-quality making them great gifts, but most importantly, so is the juice inside. There are many common favourites within the line-up that a lot of people in the fragrance community put within their top lists. Here I have complied my own favourite Versace fragrances across the range for men to try.
Here are 5 of the best Versace fragrances for men that I recommend you check out today.

#1 Versace Pour Homme Oud Noir
(Tom Ford Oud Wood Alternative)
Oud Noir is an underrated fragrance among the line-up of men’s Versace fragrances. I, however, have ranked it as number one due to its high-quality smell, great bottle design and performance.
It’s an ambery-spicy fragrance that uses notes such as Black Pepper Neroli, Saffron, Oud, Patchouli and more. Traditional Oud is typically seen as offensive smelling in the western world. However, Oud Noir makes it safe to wear with smart perfumery. This is a fantastic Oud to get into if you are new to the fragrance note.
This one does get compared to Tom Ford Oud Wood (an incredible fragrance mentioned in my list of most complimented men’s fragrances) but does go in its own direction. It lasts a good while too, and projection is moderate but expected as most fragrances that use Oud as a note tend to perform well.
Give this one a try, it’s very expensive smelling.
#2 Versace Pour Homme Dylan Blue
(Versatile Compliment Getter)
Versace Dylan Blue is the most versatile fragrance on this list and one of my top recommendations out of the whole Versace fragrance house for men. Sharing a similar bottle design to Oud Noir and Pour Homme, the glassware and Medusa head is iconic.
After Eros (listed below), if you want compliments and want to smell mass-appealing outside of the club, this is the one to get. It can be described as an Aromatic Aquatic Fougere, with Bergamot, Grapefruit, Ambroxan and a mix of other notes.
It’s an extremely well-done fresh, shower-gel type of fragrance that goes along the lines of Blue De Chanel, Sauvage and Acqua Di Gio. With names like this, it’s clear to see just why this one is safe to reach, famous and will pull you compliments.
3# Versace Eros
When it comes to the best fragrances for clubbing or getting compliments, Versace holds the crown alongside Jean Paul Gaultier Ultra Male with Versace Eros.
Eros uses Vanilla, Mint, Tonka Bean (a popular note seen in many compliment-getting fragrances), Amber, Geranium Flower, as well as Cedarwood, Vetiver and Oak Moss. This combination of notes creates an Aromatic Fougere that is sweet, fresh and intoxicating.
The bottle is a looker also with its mesmerizing teal glassware that is detailed with greek meander styling, and the famous Medusa head which can also be seen on the cap.
Versace Eros can be found in Eau De Toilette (EDT) and Eau De Parfum (EDP) concentrations. The EDT is still very long-lasting with phenomenal projection and can be had for cheaper than the EDP, which is why I have linked it below.
#4 Versace Blue Jeans
(Under £15 King)
Versace Blue Jeans is one of the best fragrances to get under £20 out of all the fragrance houses, never mind just the best in the Versace line-up. The surprisingly detailed and quality glassware, housed inside a tin casing makes this one a great affordable gift to someone.
Its notes include Bergamot, Vanilla, Lemon, Geranium, Rose, Tonka Bean, Vetiver and a lot more. Simply put, this one is fresh and spicy with a floral and woody undertone. It’s classy and timeless, and when the Vanilla hits once the scent settles, it becomes really pleasant.
For the price, Blue Jeans is incredibly long-lasting and projects well, especially in warmer weather. This is a great pick for teenagers as a first fragrance.
#5 Versace Pour Homme
(Office Compliment Magnet)
Pour Homme is citrusy, smooth and very clean smelling. It’s use of Lemon, Bergamot, Neroli, Tonka Bean, Musk and Amber and more, makes a safe and versatile fragrance. This one pairs very well for summer and warmer climates due to how refreshing it smells.
Out of all the Pour Homme’s, this one with its light blue juice and silver bottle is my favourite in design. It looks as classy as it smells. Its performance is mixed, with some reporting weak longevity but when I wear this one I get average performance and projection on my skin.
This one is a fantastic choice for the office and professional setting and will pull you compliments, but as the scent is so inoffensive it can also be a great all-rounder fragrance.
Definitely signature scent worthy.
