A good quality, stylish wallet says a lot about a person. Whether it’s a traditional leather bi-fold or a slim & minimalist cardholder, you DON’T want to be the guy that pulls out a tattered, creased wallet to make a payment. Also, a strong wallet that can last will not only save you money in the long run but also should protect it using RFID technology. However, high-quality doesn’t always need to have a high price tag attached.
And, neither does style.

Here are 4 high-quality wallets that can be had for under £40. Perfect to treat yourself, or to buy as gifts.

Spigen RFID Wallet & Card Holder
(Compact. Thin. The future wallet)

Spigen has brought to the market an affordable, high-quality alternative to the Ridge wallets that so many influencers advertise. With a minimalist design, the ability to hold 12 cards as well as cash, and coming in a thinner profile than a traditional wallet, this is the future.

The construction for the price is fantastic. Using anodized aluminium, strong elastics and an RFID blocking plate, the Spigen wallet has a great feel in the hand, and in the mind knowing that your cards are protected. But also, it just looks damn cool!

Usually, slim wallets in the past came with money clips on the sides to hold your paper money. Following the same design as the Ridge wallets, Spigen opted for a strong elastic strap with non-slip material to ensure it has a strong hold on your cash. For those looking to stand out with an almost techy and utilitarian design, the Spigen RFID Wallet is for you.

Visconti Tuscany Collection Francesca
(Traditional & pure sophistication)

The Visconti Tuscany wallet has been my personal #1 EDC for the past 3 years. Not only has the real vegetable-tanned leather kept in phenomenal shape, but so have the stitches and cloth on the inside.

Coming with a traditional bifold design in black, brown and tan leathers (my pick, it’s stunning). The wallet oozes class with a gold blind embossed logo and covered coin zipper on the inside.

There is plenty of room too, with 4 sections for cards (can fit two in each section) and a windowed slot for your ID too, as well as sections for coins and cash. Not forgetting it features RDIF technology, Visconti has ticked all the boxes with the Tuscany Collection.

This leather bifold wallet would make a great gift as the presentation is nice. Open your package and you will find a quality green box, with a green Visconti branded cloth covering the wallet itself.

Visconti Lucca Collection Ramon
(Slim & eye-catching design)

Truth be told, I am a fan of the Visconti brand. For those that only carry cards around and want something as slim and unobtrusive as possible, I recommend the Lucca Collection. Coming in some fantastically tanned leathers, Visconti gives you some cardholders that stand out in a world of wallets populated by blacks and browns.

With 3 card slots, a slip pocket for folded cash, and a windowed ID slot on the back (which is quite rare), Visconti have put a lot in a small and slim package. It is missing RFID technology, but you can’t bat how stylish it looks.

This would be a great gift for someone that needs to update their old cardholder.

RealPlus RFID ‘Carbon Fibre’ Cardholder (Sporty & strong construction)

If you’re a fan of fast cars and exotic materials, especially carbon fibre, then you’ll love the RealPlus minimalist cardholder. I know, it’s not made of real carbon fibre, but it looks great and still keeps the costs down to an affordable price.

This cardholder, just like the Spigen one, is in the same futuristic and utilitarian design that I expect more people to gravitate towards in the cashless world that we are heading towards. Although card-only is the trend, RealPlus still have a strong money clip in place to make those walking around with some bills happy.

With the ability to hold up to 15 cards, all protected with RFID, this is one great way to add some space inside your pocket. I personally like the logo also, I think it adds a cool cyber-aesthetic to the overall package.
